Basic Rules of Blackjack
I am heading to and usually stick to slots, but I have been practicing basic blackjack strategy on computer games and will be budgeting for blackjack this trip.
On the computer games, I always just bet the same amount and focus blackjack ukash trying to make the right card decisions in each hand.
My question click here do you vary your bets when you play at a table?
Or do you just flat bet a certain amount every hand?
After seeing a string of very small cards, I'll usually bet 2 to 4x my normal bet.
My vegas trips usually see me green as I just play BJ and poker.
This of course dosen't guarantee success, you need good gards for that, but if you get on a roll your stack will grow very quickly.
Every time that counter reaches 5, I move my bet up and as I move it down visit web page the counter decreases.
You would increase your bet every time you reach 5.
I never go negative but rather just drop down a bet or hold my bet if I'm at the table minimum.
I know it takes a while to increase my bet but I wasn't increasing it at all so this at least got me doing it.
You can obviously adjust when you up your bets by raising or lowering the threshold so you increase faster or slower.
Same as chewy, but I cap the units at 4 or 5.
If you get on a streak and your units get too high, you can hit a Double Down or Split situation that could potentially wipe out any profit if you miss.
I also might just go to 4 or 5 units and then go back to one, win or lose, because BLOS Breeze Law Of Statistics says the more consecutive hands you win, the chance of busting increases exponentially.
Also, if I double my original stake, that money goes back in my pocket.
If I'm really hot, I try not to count how big my stack is, but I get a rough game plan of something like "I'm keeping the blacks", "when the greens get to this level, I'm quitting" or something similar.
I tip when I'm feeling good or if I make a really good hand.
No set rule, it's just a mood thing.
I LOVE to banter with other players, dealers, pit bosses and CW's.
The Breeze at the tables is the same Breeze you find here, a motor-mouthed wise guy.
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER chase a win.
I have seen many people flush hundreds of hundreds of dollars down the little slot chasing a win.
Sometimes, it just isn't your day.
Learn to recognize this and walk away.
I also have a thing that I know from experience that I never win at an HET property, so I just don't play at those venues.
Learned that the hard way.
Mind your own hand.
You will encounter some of the stupidest people you have ever seen when it counting blackjack theory illegal cards to playing cards.
It's their money, let them throw it away if they want to.
There's a reason that cocktails are free.
For the same reason you don't drive drunk, your judgement, your senses, your inhibitions will cause you to do incredibly foolish things.
Not to mention the effect on the other players.
This takes a lot of self control.
If how bet in blackjack want to get plastered and gamble, go sit at a penny slot.
If you are not having fun, walk away.
As a very funny gentleman dealer from the Dominican said at a table once, "This is not your job.
You do not come to to make money, you come here to have fun".
I've heard people that have fail proof systems but I'm not sure exactly what they are and how they work.
Something to the effect of always bet the same amount and double the bet on a loss each time until you win then go back to the original wager.
Makes sense if you had the bankroll I guess.
Personally, I stick with my bet until I feel the table is on a roll even if it's only me on a roll and then I will start to increase it.
If I notice it change I drop back to the original bet.
I rarely double or split against a 10.
It's supposedly wrong how bet in blackjack but I always assume the dealer has a 10 in the hole and play accordingly.
Agree with Breeze and I was more discipline my last trip in April.
If the table was "bla" and people were playing silly like taking time to decide what to do with 13 vs a dealer's 5I moved on.
I remember this nice kid next to me who was saying "i'd be betting that hot streak a lot harder".
Just want to do that once.
I've had some success in the past with Chewy's system.
You're basically betting that the game goes in streaks - which it does.
Betting more when you are winning, dropping back to minimums when you are losing.
The only time you will get hosed during this system is if you win-lose-win-lose-etc.
If betting same amount each time, you'd push.
With this strategy, you'll continue to lose.
The last how bet in blackjack I'll add - I don't play much blackjack anymore.
Couldn't consistently come out ahead.
Craps is where it is at - give that a try too!
I pretty well flat bet.
When I occasionally hit one of those hot streaks where everything seems to be falling my way I'll bump up for a bit.
Sometimes if things aren't going all that great I'll vary just to feel like I am doing something different to try and change the streak.
But the odds are the odds.
TennesseeT1, I actually saw someone using the "fail proof" system your talking about a few years ago, and it perfectly illustrated why it doesn't work in reality.
If there were no table limits that is, and that's exactly where she ran into trouble.
She came close to see more table limit twice in about an hour.
Rather than getting the message that the system is flawed, she left to find a table with a higher maximum bet.
Considering that she also didn't really seem to understand the basic strategy card she was using, she was well on the road to losing big.

Blackjack - Betting Systems
The best total of all is a two-card 21, or a blackjack. Blackjack pays 3-2--that is, a two-card 21 on a $5 bet will win $7.50 instead of the usual $5 even-money ...
