Michigan Poker – Is Online Poker Legal in Michigan?

best poker rooms in michigan
Rakeback.com recommends the rooms below for Michigan online poker. The largest poker room having 18 tables is at Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant.

best poker rooms in michigan I'm about to hop a flight to Detroit for business and will have a little time to play and was wondering if there are any Redchippers in the area didn't see a thread and if you have recommendations about the three rooms I see there downtown.
MGM is the cleanest room and has decent volume.
MotorCity has the most action but is Smokey and dirty.
I have not been to Greektown but I hear the games play small there.
When will you be there?
Motorcity - bigger games, big bad beat jackpot, busiest room in Detroit, only downside is the smell--and maybe location--outside of the city, and zero comps offered except free pizza.
Oh--and the chairs suck: Greektown - right in best poker rooms in michigan city, 1-2 NL only, good giveaways, doesn't smell, not much action, easiest games in town, and comps.
MGM - nicest room, doesn't smell, offers 1-2 and 2-5 2-5 runs mainly on Fri and Sat thoughcomps If you're walking distance to Greektown, I'd just play there.
It's my 2nd favorite room behind Motorcity.
Lots of restaurants outside of the casino as well--I'm about a 5 minute walk from Greektown.
I live in the area.
Greektown is definitely the most casual.
Even the house is a bit lax.
I waited with 4 people an hour to get into a tourney.
They should have split the 2 existing tables.
Oddly and probably due to the small number of people when folks tilt they can go hard.
Kicking chairs and cursing, etc.
Otherwise, people are friendly.
Also Friday an every hour high hand giveaway.
You can rebuy at the table.
MGM you take the elevator to the tables.
The people here seem older and more agitated.
More apt to call clock.
All business to me.
Not a fun time but they run more tables than greektown.
Free sandwiches and other fridge snacks.
Motor City room is adjacent to the games so lots of smoke gets in the room.
Actually source have two rooms.
Plus they had to remove some games and add more tables.
Always call ahead at least 45minutes.
Friendly and many regulars but mostly poor players including yours truly.
The floor is solid no nonsense.
Dealers are mostly fast and friendly.
I hate the smoke but Sports betting suffer article source every Friday.
Also MGM is the fanciest casino with snazzy restaurants and a spa.
Motor City is OK.
Greektown I just exit the casino and eat in greektown.
All 3 are downtown Detroit but greektown is in the heart in a pedestrian busy area.
Neglected to mention Caesars across the bridge in Windsor.
I'm here, landed about an hour best poker rooms in michigan />Greektown is walkable and I've played there once briefly.
The people seemed friendly.
And small doesn't bother me - I'm definitely still learning and don't need to go broke lol.
Too bad about Motor City - not sure if I can handle the smoke.
How many tables do they run?
Doesn't look like they have Bravo.
I live on the west side of the State.
MotorCity is the busiest casino.
I won't make it there this week.
Thanks for the input.
Good instinct to not play!
Wrote a long response about all three rooms that must have been eaten underground on the commute.
Will try to recreate later.

I'm looking forward to hearing what you best free game download about the rooms.
So, I agree that Greektown is probably the softest.
I had a good time there and had a good table but once the big stacks left, I tried to get a table change.
I asked the floor, and he said OK, and after a long while sitting shorthanded at a pretty dead table, I got up and ask again.
He kind of hemmed and hawwed and I looked and saw that there were seats open at a couple other tables.
I said I know you don't want my table to go short, but the alternative is for me to go to another card room.
He didn't best poker rooms in michigan anything to stop me from leaving, which I thought was just really bad practice to lose a customer.
All in all, it's a nice sleepy little room where you can probably do pretty well if they have any tables going but there were only about three while I was there and that was even later at night when it seems like most cardrooms pick up not slow down, but it slowed down as the night went on.
Walkable from downtown so that was the big plus.
I caught a Lyft over to motor best poker rooms in michigan, and that was like entering Nirvana.
It seemed like all the tables had action and it was very lively.
Maybe it was a good night but I didn't notice any smell of locker room or smoke.
I wish I'd gone there instead of going to Greektown earlier.
I had assumed from the comments about it being smoky, that people were able to actually smoke at the tables.
I am pretty sensitive to smoke and I have to say that it really wasn't noticeable deeper into the card room.
It may be worse at the front tables close to the casino, but it's a fairly narrow and deep card room so that helps being in the back.
The action was good and the people were very friendly.
I sat between two nice smelling guys so I didn't have to deal with the locker room LOL.
It was great to be in a space where there were lots of tables going even up till about 3 AM when I finally left.
Particularly since I'm used to playing in the card rooms here at home that usually have at least 30 tables going.
The food on offer was actually really good.
The guy who owns little Caesars pizza apparently owns the casino as well.
So there was an abundance of pizza but they also brought out things like ribs, fruit bowls as big as your head, chicken, sandwiches, and other snacks.
There was also the typical drink Fountain as well as drink service from the waitresses.
Having free food was a novel experience since that's definitely not provided where I play.
I didn't go to MGM this time but I have been there before.
It didn't seem like there were that many tables but now pokeratlas shows that they have about 18 tables I think, and I think I've heard that they're in a different space so maybe they upgraded since I was there in the spring.
I'm willing to try it again though particularly if it's a different room than I've visited in March this year.
It's definitely more convenient to get to from downtown than motor city.
I believe MGM provides food in the poker room as well and the M life comps are something that's appealing since I have an MGM close to home.
I'll be back the week of October 15 if anyone in the Detroit area wants to meet up and play a session in the evening, although it wouldn't be a late session since I'll be working.
Not sure if I am remembering everything I wrote in my post that got deleted best poker rooms in michigan the metro ride but I think I've covered most of it.
All in all, Detroit feels like a good town for poker.
Any Red Chippers in the Detroit area?
I'm looking to expand my poker network to get a group together to learn and get better.
It looks like you're new here.
